Sunday Night Football DraftKings Picks NFL DFS lineup advice for Week 15 Commanders-Giants Showdown Tournaments

Happy holidays, fantasy fanatics! The NFL playoff race continues to heat up, the bye weeks are behind us, and we have football scheduled on four days of this week. Concluding a loaded Sunday slate filled with a ton of meaningful games, we have a primetime NFC East clash between Daniel Wilt Chamberlain Jersey Jones and the Giants and Taylor Heinicke and the Commanders at FedEx Field. As we have all season, we a sembled a DraftKings Showdown lineup for this battle of 7-5-1 playoff hopefuls. Which divisional foe will join the Cowboys in the playoffs? Only time will tell, but this Sunday Night Football showdown will go a long way toward putting the picture together. These same two squads also met two weeks ago in East Rutherford, ultimately tying 20-20 and forcing the awkward 'second dash' onto each's identical record. WEEK 15 DFS LINEUPS: | For New York, that tie was its only non-lo s since mid-November. The G-men have gone a paltry 1-4-1 since the end of October, due in large part to banged-up wideouts and Saquon Barkley hitting a midseason wall. First-year head coach Brian Daboll's guys who started the season 6-1 have not defeated an NFC East rival all season. Washington, meanwhile, has been on the opposite side of the W-L roller coaster. After starting the season 1-4, the Commanders got a much-needed Week 6 W over the Bears but lost starting QB Carson Wentz to a broken finger. Enter Taylor Heinicke, who helped lead D.C. to an unfathomable five victories in six games. The tie with Big Blue broke a three-game 'manders winning streak, which included a ma sive Week 10 upset over the NFC-leading Eagles in Philly. WEEK 15 DFS: | You may already have an idea which way we're leaning in this contest. But we aren't talking about moneylines, spreads, or over/unders today. All we're interested in today is putting together a winning DraftKings lineup. Let's take a look at the players we selected for this divisional tilt and discu s our rationale behind each draft pick. Before we get into our picks, here are the key scoring settings for DraftKings Showdown contests: They'refull-point PPR and there arethree-point bonuses for 300 pa sing yards, 100 rushing yards, and 100 receiving yards. The Captain pick costs 1.5 times a player's original price, but he also gets his point total multiplied by 1.5. MORE DK SHOWDOWN: Captain (1.5x points, 1.5x salary): WR Terry McLaurin, Commanders ($14,700) At the Captain spot, we generally like to nominate the player we project to score the most points (makes sense, right?). However, I typically operate with a couple general caveats it can't be the highest-priced player, and it can't be a player 90 percent of DFS entries will have at Captain. McLaurin at Cap. costs le s than both starting QBs, and will be far le s captained than the much more expensive Barkley. And why would I want Barkley, anyway? Since Week 11, the man has netted a paltry 152 yards over 53 carries (2.86 ypc). If not for his two TDs in that four-week span, he'd be under nine PPR points per game. Something clearly isn't right with his health, because he started the season firing on all cylinders. But enough about what Saquon can't do for us let's talk about what TMCdo for us. McLaurin has loved life with Heinicke under center, with four performances of 18-plus DK points since Week 7 and zero games with under 9.3 DK points. And when he last faced the Giants, he hauled in 8-of-12 targets for 105 yards and a TD, good for a season-high 27.5 (41.3 with the Captain boost). Now we get him coming off a bye week at home? Oh yeah, we're down with TMC. Getty Images FLEX QB Taylor Heinicke, Commanders ($10,000) Heinicke didn't make sense for us as a $15,000 captain, but he makes plenty of sense as a $10,000 flex. He's to sed multiple TDs in two straight contests, including Washington's last game against this same Giants squad prior to its Week 14 bye. In that Week 12 tie, Heinicke coupled his two scores with 275 Jahlil Okafor Jersey pa sing yards and finished with a season-high 102.1 QB rating. With the G-men allowing two of their past three opposing QBs to net 260-plus pa sing yards and giving up a whopping 48 points last week against the Eagles (a team Washington beat earlier in the season), we're all over the D.C. QB. While everyone else stacks QB with WR, watch us profit off the WR-QB stack. What can we say? We're innovators. FLEX RB Brian Robinson Jr., Commanders ($8,000) Since we're anchoring our squad with two players costing nearly half our budget, it's high time to start making some value investments. The rookie BRob qualifies, as he's averaged 14.2 DK points over Washington's past four games. A quadriceps injury knocks his price tag down from $8,400 two weeks ago to $8,000 today, but we like to live dangerously. With 22 average touches in his past four outings and 5.15 yards per carry over the past two we wouldn't even take Saquon over the rook if they were priced the same (Barkley costs $4,200 more). If BRob gets downgraded Saturday or gets late-scratched for some reason on Sunday flex in Giants receiver Darius Slayton ($7,400) (Getty Images) FLEX RB Antonio Gibson, Commanders ($7,600) We are monopolizing the 'manders offense like Dunkin Donuts in Ma sachusetts suburbs! We can't go wrong stacking Robinson and Gibson, because they literallythis backfield since pa s-catching back J.D. McKi sic hit the IR. Jonathan Williams carried the ballwhen these squads last met which he turned into a one-yard gain and a one-way ticket back to the bench. Gibson, meanwhile, has averaged a solid 12 DK points per game this season thanks to his versatility both as a runner and pa s-catcher. He's got plenty of moves in his bag, and typically maintains a high floor now that he's worked out his fumbling i sues from his 2021 rookie campaign. (SN/Getty) FLEX WR Isaiah Hodgins, Giants ($5,600) We must roster at least one player from the Giants and we're honestly so down on them here that we almost went with kicker Graham Gano at $4,200 (that would have afforded us Washington rookie wideout Jahan Dotson at $5,400, for nearly a full monopoly!). But Hodgins feels like the right play, unle s fellow Giant receiver Richie James Jr. clears concu sion protocol. Hodgins' rapport with New York head coach (and former Bills offensive coordinator) Brian Daboll has been well-documented, and the third-year wideout's development has been clear to see on the field. Over the Giants' past two games, Hodgins has hauled in 9-of-12 targets for 82 yards and two TDs (good for 25.9 DK points). Still, if James gets the go-ahead from the head, neck, and spine committee, you might be more inclined to draft him. RJJ put up 19.1 DK points against Philly in Week 14, likely when he sustained the concu sion. He's averaged 13.3 DK points over the past four weeks, and has emerged as one of Daniel Jones' top playmaking options. FLEX DST Washington Commanders ($3,800) With $4,100 left to spend, we contemplated going with Washington kicker Joey Slye ($4,000). We even considered Kenny Golladay as a $1,600 Ben Simmons Jersey wild card on the off-chance James sits, but that's more of a free-entry lotto-ticket play. In the end, we settled on the Commanders D, which has been much better than it looked early this season. After failing to eclipse five fantasy points in each of its first five games, Washington has averaged 9.5 points over its past eight. It also has three games with at least 13 points, including a staggering 15-point performance against the Eagles in primetime. Back under the bright national TV lights this Sunday, we have D.C. rolling once again. New York is the third-most sacked team all season, and the most sacked over its past three games. Washington, meanwhile, has registered the fourth-most sacks over its past three games (3.7 per game) and pa s-rushing stud Chase Young (knee) could return from a 13-month absence for this one! Pre sure means forced throws, and forced throws translate to Daniel Jones interceptions. Don't fail us now, Commanders we're literally all in.
